About Event

Kings Karting Championship is a competition conducted by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kings Engineering College to explore the theoretical and technical skills of engineering and diploma students. The main motto of this competition is to design, analyze, documentation and manufacturing of Kart. The event takes place in three stages during December 18-20th, 2018.

· Day 1- Design Validation Round and Technical Inspection

· Day 2- Dynamic Round

· Day 3- Endurance test

First, design validation round known as the virtual round will be conducted. The special feature of this round is that there will be no elimination at this point. The second stage is the Technical Inspection where the vehicle will be thoroughly checked prior to the requirements provided. Finally, the last stage comprises of Dynamic Round and Endurance test. The participating teams have liberty to exhibit their Innovation and New Finding allied with rule book provided by KKC.

In order to encourage and motivate the upcoming engineers to express their individual talent through this event, KKC provides 10+ various awards in different categories. The recognition is not only by certificate, KKC announces INR 16, 00,000 (Sixteen Lakhs) worth Prize which include INR 8, 00,000 (Eight Lakhs) Cash Prize.
